Terms of Service
Last updated: March 27, 2026
Effective date: March 27, 2026
Please read these Terms carefully before using BitCollect.
By creating an account or using our service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use BitCollect.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "user") and BitCollect, operated by Hijaz Bros Inc, a Florida corporation ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the BitCollect platform at bitcollect.app, you agree to these Terms in full.
If you are using BitCollect on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to that organization.
2. Eligibility
To use BitCollect, you must meet all of the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a legal resident of the United States
- Have a valid bank account at a supported U.S. financial institution
- Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
- Not be barred from receiving services under applicable U.S. law
- Not have a previously terminated BitCollect account due to violation of these Terms
By using BitCollect, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements. If you do not, you must not use our service.
3. Description of Service
BitCollect is a financial technology platform that provides the following services:
- Connecting to your bank account via Plaid to monitor transactions in read-only mode
- Automatically calculating "round-up" amounts from your everyday purchases (e.g., a $4.37 purchase generates a $0.63 round-up)
- Purchasing Bitcoin on your behalf through Strike (Zap Solutions, Inc.) using accumulated round-up amounts and optional direct purchases
- Maintaining a Bitcoin balance tracker showing your holdings and estimated portfolio value
- Allowing withdrawal of Bitcoin to your personal wallet when your balance reaches a threshold you set
BitCollect is a technology platform, not a licensed broker-dealer, investment advisor, or bank. Bitcoin purchases are executed through Strike (Zap Solutions, Inc.), a licensed and regulated digital currency company. BitCollect holds a FinCEN Money Services Business (MSB) registration (Receipt No. MRX26-00003465).
Portfolio values displayed in your dashboard are estimates based on live market data and are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute a guarantee of any specific value at the time of sale or withdrawal.
4. Custodial Nature of Bitcoin Holdings
⚠️ Important — Please Read Carefully
Bitcoin held through BitCollect is custodial. This means your Bitcoin is held on your behalf by a third party (Strike), not directly by you in a self-custody wallet. This carries risks you must understand and accept before using our service.
By using BitCollect, you expressly acknowledge and agree to all of the following:
- Custodial model: Your Bitcoin is held within BitCollect's master Strike business account. BitCollect maintains an internal ledger tracking your individual balance. You do not hold private keys to your Bitcoin until you withdraw it to your own personal wallet.
- Not your keys until you withdraw: Until you withdraw your Bitcoin to your own wallet, you do not have direct control over the private keys. BitCollect strongly encourages users to withdraw their Bitcoin to a personal self-custody wallet regularly.
- Counterparty risk: You are exposed to counterparty risk with both BitCollect and Strike. If either party becomes insolvent, ceases operations, is subject to regulatory action, or is otherwise unable to fulfill obligations, your ability to access or recover your Bitcoin may be delayed, limited, or prevented.
- No FDIC or SIPC protection: Bitcoin held through BitCollect is not insured by the FDIC, SIPC, or any other U.S. government agency or insurance program.
- Commingled assets: Your Bitcoin is held within BitCollect's master Strike account alongside other users' Bitcoin. BitCollect tracks individual balances internally. In the event of insolvency, commingled assets may be subject to claims by creditors.
- Withdrawal is your best protection: The most effective way to protect yourself from custodial risk is to regularly withdraw your Bitcoin to your own self-custody wallet. BitCollect provides a withdrawal feature for this purpose and strongly encourages its use.
5. Account Registration and Security
To use BitCollect, you must create an account by providing your name and email address and choosing a password. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information during registration
- Keep your account information current and up to date
- Maintain the confidentiality of your password and not share it with anyone
- Notify us immediately at team@bitcollect.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
We reserve the right to refuse registration or cancel accounts at our discretion. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account credentials.
6. Subscription and Billing
BitCollect is a subscription-based service. The following billing terms apply:
- Free Trial: New users receive a 30-day free trial. No payment is required at signup. Each user and each payment card is eligible for only one free trial. Trial abuse prevention measures are in place.
- Monthly Plan: $2.99/month, billed on the anniversary of your subscription start date after the trial ends.
- Annual Plan: $29.99/year, billed annually. Equivalent to approximately $2.50/month.
- Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
- Failed Payments: If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry the charge. If payment is not received within 7 days, your account may be suspended. Your Bitcoin balance is not affected by a payment failure.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not issue refunds for partial months or unused portions of a subscription period.
- Effect of Cancellation on Bitcoin: Cancelling your subscription does not immediately affect your Bitcoin balance. Your Bitcoin remains accessible for withdrawal for 30 days following the end of your final billing period. After that time, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you regarding your balance.
- Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' written notice via email. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
- Taxes: You are responsible for any applicable taxes on your subscription and Bitcoin transactions in your jurisdiction.
7. Bitcoin Purchases and Risk Disclosure
⚠️ Important Risk Disclosure — Please Read Carefully
Bitcoin is a highly speculative and volatile asset. The value of your Bitcoin holdings can decrease substantially or to zero at any time. Past performance is not indicative of future results. BitCollect is not a registered investment advisor. Nothing in our service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
By using BitCollect's Bitcoin purchasing features, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:
- Bitcoin purchases are executed through Strike (Zap Solutions, Inc.) at prevailing market prices at the time of purchase. BitCollect does not set or control Bitcoin prices.
- You bear full and sole responsibility for any losses resulting from Bitcoin price fluctuations
- BitCollect makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the future value of Bitcoin or any returns on your purchases
- Bitcoin transactions are irreversible once executed — we cannot cancel, reverse, or refund completed Bitcoin purchases
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any Bitcoin wallet address you provide. Sending Bitcoin to an incorrect address results in permanent, unrecoverable loss. BitCollect bears no liability for losses resulting from incorrect wallet addresses provided by you.
- Bitcoin is not insured by the FDIC, SIPC, or any government agency
- You may be subject to tax obligations on Bitcoin gains in your jurisdiction — please consult a qualified tax professional
- Regulatory changes at the federal, state, or international level may affect the legality, availability, or functionality of Bitcoin services at any time
- Round-up amounts accumulate over time before being converted to Bitcoin. There is no guarantee that the price at conversion will be favorable.
8. Third-Party Service Providers and Insolvency Risk
⚠️ Third-Party Risk — Please Read Carefully
BitCollect relies on third-party service providers to deliver its core functionality. The failure, insolvency, regulatory shutdown, or discontinuation of any of these providers could materially affect your ability to use our service or access your Bitcoin. By using BitCollect, you accept this risk.
BitCollect uses the following key third-party service providers:
- Strike (Zap Solutions, Inc.) — Bitcoin infrastructure. Executes all Bitcoin purchases and processes all withdrawals. Holds all user Bitcoin within BitCollect's master business account.
- Stripe, Inc. — Payment processing. Handles all subscription billing and purchase fees.
- Plaid Inc. — Bank connectivity. Provides read-only access to your bank transaction data for calculating round-ups.
- Supabase — Database and authentication. Stores your account data, Bitcoin balance records, and transaction history.
By using BitCollect, you expressly acknowledge and agree to all of the following:
- Third-party dependency: BitCollect's ability to purchase Bitcoin, hold Bitcoin, and process withdrawals depends entirely on Strike remaining operational, solvent, and compliant with applicable regulations. BitCollect has no control over Strike's operations, financial condition, or regulatory status.
- Strike insolvency or failure: If Strike becomes insolvent, files for bankruptcy, is shut down by regulators, freezes withdrawals, suspends services, or otherwise becomes unable to fulfill its obligations for any reason — BitCollect shall not be liable to you for any losses, damages, or inability to recover Bitcoin arising from such events. BitCollect will make commercially reasonable efforts to assist users in recovering their Bitcoin in such scenarios but cannot guarantee the outcome.
- Regulatory risk: Strike, Plaid, Stripe, or BitCollect may be subject to regulatory action, license revocation, or legal proceedings that prevent or limit service delivery. BitCollect does not guarantee continuous service in the event of such actions.
- Service discontinuation: Any third-party provider may discontinue, modify, or suspend their services at any time. BitCollect will make reasonable efforts to transition to alternative providers where feasible but cannot guarantee continuity of service.
- Data availability: In the event of a database outage or data corruption, your balance records may be temporarily unavailable. BitCollect maintains reasonable backup procedures but cannot guarantee zero data loss in all scenarios.
- No recourse against BitCollect for third-party failures: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BitCollect shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, or inability to access funds resulting from the acts, omissions, insolvency, regulatory action, or failure of any third-party service provider, including but not limited to Strike, Stripe, Plaid, or Supabase.
- Your mitigation — withdraw regularly: The most effective way to protect yourself from third-party risk is to regularly withdraw your Bitcoin to your own self-custody wallet. BitCollect strongly encourages this practice and provides withdrawal functionality for this purpose.
BitCollect will make commercially reasonable efforts to notify users as promptly as possible in the event of a material disruption to any critical third-party service. However, BitCollect cannot guarantee the timeliness or completeness of such notifications in all circumstances.
9. Bank Account Connection
BitCollect uses Plaid to connect to your bank account. By linking your bank account, you:
- Authorize BitCollect to access your transaction history in read-only mode for the purpose of calculating round-up amounts
- Agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
- Acknowledge that BitCollect does not store your bank login credentials — all bank authentication is handled directly by Plaid
- Understand that you may disconnect your bank account at any time through your account settings
- Acknowledge that BitCollect accesses transactions in a passive, monitoring capacity and does not initiate withdrawals directly from your linked bank account without your explicit authorization
- Understand that BitCollect supports one linked bank account per user
10. Fees and Pricing Disclosure
Our commitment on fees
BitCollect will never charge you a fee that isn't disclosed to you before you confirm a transaction. However, because we use third-party infrastructure providers (Strike, Stripe, and the Bitcoin network), some fees are set and charged by those providers independently of BitCollect. We explain all of them below so you always know exactly what you're paying.
BitCollect Fees (charged directly by us):
- Monthly Subscription: $2.99/month. Covers all round-up tracking, weekly Bitcoin purchases, your dashboard, withdrawals, and customer support.
- Annual Subscription: $29.99/year (equivalent to approximately $2.50/month). Same features as Monthly.
- Quick Buy Service Fee: 1.5% of the purchase amount on all direct (Quick Buy) Bitcoin purchases. This fee is clearly displayed before you confirm. It does not apply to weekly round-up purchases — those are included in your subscription.
- Withdrawal Fee (BitCollect): BitCollect currently charges no fee for Bitcoin withdrawals to your personal wallet. This may change with 30 days' written notice.
Strike Fees (charged by Strike, not BitCollect):
- Exchange/Spread Fee: When BitCollect purchases Bitcoin on your behalf through Strike, Strike applies an exchange fee that is incorporated into the exchange rate at the time of purchase. This means the effective price you receive for Bitcoin will be slightly less favorable than the raw market price. Strike's exchange fees are tiered based on monthly trading volume and are subject to change by Strike at any time. BitCollect does not control, set, or profit from Strike's exchange fees.
- On-Chain Withdrawal Fees: When you withdraw Bitcoin to your personal wallet, Strike may charge an on-chain transaction fee depending on the delivery speed selected. BitCollect uses the "Flexible" delivery tier for withdrawals, which Strike does not charge an additional fee for, though standard Bitcoin network (miner) fees still apply.
- Fee changes by Strike: Strike's fee structure is set by Strike independently and may change at any time. BitCollect has no control over Strike's fee changes. We encourage you to review Strike's current fee information for the most up-to-date details.
Stripe Fees (charged by Stripe to BitCollect, not directly to you):
- Stripe charges BitCollect standard payment processing fees on your subscription payments and Quick Buy fee charges. These costs are borne by BitCollect and are factored into our subscription pricing. Stripe does not charge you directly.
Bitcoin Network Fees (charged by the Bitcoin network):
- Miner Fees: All on-chain Bitcoin transactions require a network fee paid to Bitcoin miners. These fees are determined entirely by Bitcoin network conditions at the time of the transaction and are not set or controlled by BitCollect or Strike. Miner fees may be higher during periods of network congestion.
- Miner fees are deducted from the withdrawal amount or added to the transaction cost at the time of the on-chain transfer.
Summary — what affects how much Bitcoin you receive:
- For weekly round-up purchases: your round-up amount minus Strike's exchange spread = Bitcoin credited to your account
- For Quick Buy purchases: your purchase amount minus BitCollect's 1.5% service fee, minus Strike's exchange spread = Bitcoin credited to your account
- For withdrawals: your Bitcoin balance minus Bitcoin network miner fees = Bitcoin received in your personal wallet
All BitCollect-controlled fees are disclosed before any transaction is confirmed. Third-party fees (Strike exchange spreads and Bitcoin network fees) are variable and determined at the time of each transaction. By using BitCollect, you acknowledge and accept that third-party fees exist, may vary, and are outside BitCollect's control.
11. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account login credentials
- All transactions and activity that occur under your account
- Ensuring your payment method has sufficient funds to cover subscription charges
- Providing and maintaining accurate personal and financial information
- The accuracy of your Bitcoin wallet address for withdrawals
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any security breach
- Complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and tax obligations in your jurisdiction relating to Bitcoin ownership and transactions
- Conducting your own research and due diligence regarding Bitcoin as an asset
- Regularly withdrawing your Bitcoin to a personal self-custody wallet if you wish to reduce custodial and counterparty risk
12. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use BitCollect for any of the following purposes:
- Violating any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation
- Money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or any other illegal financial activities
- Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information during registration or at any other time
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, databases, or other infrastructure
- Introducing viruses, malware, or other harmful code into our platform
- Using automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or interact with our service
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or copying any part of our platform or software
- Using our service on behalf of another person without their explicit consent
- Creating multiple accounts to abuse our free trial or referral program
- Any activity that interferes with or disrupts the integrity or performance of our service
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and may be reported to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
13. Referral Program
BitCollect offers an optional referral program. The following conditions apply:
- Referral rewards are credited only when the referred user maintains an active paid subscription for at least 60 consecutive days
- Referral rewards are credited in Bitcoin at the prevailing market rate at the time of credit
- Each referral reward is subject to verification and may be withheld pending review
- BitCollect reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time with reasonable notice
- Fraudulent referrals — including self-referrals or the creation of fake accounts — will result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of all rewards
- Referral rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash directly through BitCollect. Rewards may be withdrawn to your personal wallet.
14. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the BitCollect platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and code — are owned by Hijaz Bros Inc and are protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use BitCollect solely for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our service or software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code.
15. Termination
Either party may terminate the relationship under these Terms at any time.
Termination by you: You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at team@bitcollect.app. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which access will be revoked. No refunds will be issued for unused subscription time.
Termination by BitCollect: We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have:
- Violated any provision of these Terms
- Engaged in fraudulent, illegal, or abusive activity
- Failed to pay subscription fees after the applicable grace period
- Provided false or fraudulent information
- Created risk or potential legal liability for BitCollect or our users
Effect on Bitcoin balance upon termination:
- Your access to the BitCollect platform will be revoked upon termination
- Any Bitcoin balance held in your BitCollect account will be transferred to your registered wallet address within 30 days, provided you have supplied a valid wallet address and subject to BitCollect's ability to fulfill that transfer through its third-party infrastructure (including Strike)
- If no valid wallet address is on file, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you to obtain one within 30 days of termination
- BitCollect's obligation to return your Bitcoin is contingent upon our third-party infrastructure (including Strike) remaining operational and capable of processing the transfer. If Strike or another critical provider is unavailable at the time of termination, BitCollect will make commercially reasonable efforts to return your Bitcoin but cannot guarantee the timeline or successful completion of such transfer.
- Outstanding subscription fees remain due and payable
- Sections 4, 7, 8, 14, 16, 17, 18, and 19 of these Terms survive termination
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BITCOLLECT IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

- Our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- Results obtained from using our service will be accurate or reliable
- Any errors or defects in the service will be corrected
- Bitcoin prices displayed are perfectly accurate at any given moment
- Third-party service providers (including Strike, Plaid, or Stripe) will remain available, solvent, or operational
- Your Bitcoin will be accessible at all times, including during third-party outages, regulatory actions, or insolvency events
We are not responsible for any losses resulting from service outages, technical failures, third-party service disruptions (including Strike, Plaid, or Stripe), or events beyond our reasonable control.
17. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BITCOLLECT, HIJAZ BROS INC, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities

- Any other damages arising from your use of or inability to use our service
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL SUBSCRIPTION FEES YOU PAID TO BITCOLLECT IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.
18. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BitCollect, Hijaz Bros Inc, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

- Any losses resulting from your failure to withdraw Bitcoin to a personal wallet
19. Arbitration Agreement and Class Action Waiver
⚠️ Please read this section carefully — it significantly affects your legal rights.
This section requires you to resolve most disputes with BitCollect through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, and waives your right to participate in any class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
Agreement to Arbitrate: You and BitCollect agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof, or to the use of our service — including any claims relating to the loss of or inability to access Bitcoin due to third-party failures — shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The AAA's rules are available at www.adr.org.
Exceptions: The following claims are excluded from this arbitration agreement:
- Claims that qualify for small claims court in your jurisdiction
- Claims seeking injunctive or other equitable relief for intellectual property violations
Class Action Waiver: YOU AND BITCOLLECT AGREE THAT EACH PARTY MAY ONLY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS ACTION, CLASS ARBITRATION, COLLECTIVE ACTION, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE MORE THAN ONE PERSON'S CLAIMS AND MAY NOT PRESIDE OVER ANY CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to team@bitcollect.app within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your name, email address, and a clear statement that you are opting out of arbitration.
Arbitration Procedure: Arbitration shall take place in Hillsborough County, Florida, unless the parties agree otherwise or the AAA rules require otherwise. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. The arbitrator shall apply Florida law consistent with the Federal Arbitration Act.
Costs: For claims under $10,000, BitCollect will pay all AAA filing, administration, and arbitrator fees unless the arbitrator finds your claim to be frivolous.
20. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. To the extent any dispute is not subject to arbitration under Section 19, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida for resolution of such disputes.
21. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date
- Send a notification email to your registered address at least 30 days before changes take effect
- Display a prominent notice within the BitCollect app or website
Your continued use of BitCollect after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with any changes, you must stop using our service and close your account before the effective date.
